David and Sherri (Bromley) Petersen were married June 7, 1980 in Ludington and will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at home and a trip to Traverse City. They are the parents of Nathan “Nate” Petersen of Ludington and Andrew Petersen, currently a student at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

Chuck and Carolyn Flagstead of 7737 Old Channel Trail, Montague will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. She is the former Carolyn Schultz. Both are retired from Alcoa-Howmet. They were married May 29, 1970. The Flagstead’s have two sons and four grandchildren.

Nancy and Hughie Frye of Holton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a “Gonna Take A Sentimental Journey” to the military chapel they were married in.
