Gundersen - Brzezinski Engagement

David and Katharine Gundersen of Whitehall are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Kate Gundersen, to Matthew Michael Brzezinski. Michael is the son of Michael and Nora Brzezinski of Jackson, Michigan.
The wedding is planned for June 11, 2011.

Gillish 50th Anniversary

The children of Stan and Karen Gillish of Rothbury, wish to congratulate them on the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Stan and Karen were married on January 21, 1961, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Montague. They have four children, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Mexico.

Schultz - Boyle Engagement

Autumn Schultz of Allison Park, PA and Aaron Boyle of Mechanicsburg, PA plan to marry December 17, 2011 at First English Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pittsburgh. Autumn is the daughter of Richard and Diana Schultz of Allison Park, PA.
She attended Whitehall High School, Interlochen Arts Academy (2005), and Cleveland Institute of Music (2010). She is employed by Soergel Orchards in Wexford, PA. Aaron is the son of Peter and Karen Collins of Mechanicsburg, PA.
He attended Trinity High School (2001) and Rochester Institute of Technology. He is employed by L-3 in Baghdad, Iraq. He served in The United States Army.

Petrun - Martin Engagement

Dr. Sandra Gibbs of Whitehall, Michigan and Dr. Craig Petrun of Potomac, Maryland announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Petrun to Patrick Martin. Mr. Martin is the son of Edward and Mary Christine Martin of Lexington, KY.
Ms. Petrun is completing her Ph.D. in Communication at the University of Kentucky. Mr. Martin is a 1st Lieutenant Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps and is currently stationed at Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina.
The wedding is planned for May 28, 2011 at The Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington, Kentucky with reception following at The Lexington Country Club. After returning from their honeymoon, the newlyweds will reside in Surf City, North Carolina.

Golden Anniversary

John and Kay Michael of Montague are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 3, 2011. An open house will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2-5 p.m., at the Montague United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook St., Montague. They have three children, 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
